VERSES: Story & A Christian Worldview

Thank you for joining me for this week’s episode of VERSES – a podcast of the ministries of Grace Community Church. I’m your host David George Montalvo.

This week, we dive into some serious conversation with the soon to be Dr Stan Ward (he’s almost a Dr.). Stan is a Christian educator, speaker, napkin theologian, and workshop leader. And he brings some considerable theological cookies to our table in today’s podcast on the power of story in light of a Christian worldview. Also on board is Steve Tanner, Associate Pastor of Families & Community here at Grace. This cool cat isn’t just a fun guy to hang out with but he is also deeply committed to discipleship and helping foster healthy Christian families.

Stanley J. Ward is a Christian educator, speaker, napkin theologian, and workshop leader.

Stan holds a BA in religion from Oklahoma Baptist University, an  MDIV with an emphasis in Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Seminary, additional studies in Greek and Hebrew from Brite Divinity School, and graduate studies in the Humanities from the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture. Stan is currently pursuing a PhD in leadership and education at Dallas Baptist University and serves as both Bible Chairperson and Worldview Director for The Brook Hill School in Bullard, TX.

Stan is the husband of Mindy, father of two admittedly beautiful daughters, and thankful owner of a male goldfish.
